We stayed at the Hut Villa and had a wonderful time. Kathy and Mark were incredibly friendly and waited for our arrival despite the ferry delay. the location was stunning, with beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. the bed was very comfy and the shower impressive. We enjoyed being close to the animals and experiencing the raw and natural habitat. the Hut provided a cosy and romantic setting, especially with the wood burner. It was a great escape from the grid and allowed us to reconnect. the separate utility room and bathroom exceeded our expectations, with convenient amenities and a fantastic shower. Kathy also provided helpful recommendations for local dining options. We had a lovely time in Godshill village and by the sea. We would definitely visit again. Cons: Nothing to be said. 👍.

Review of The Hut in Ventnor. ******************
I personally found the bed a bit too soft for my liking, but I understand that some people might find it quite comfortable.

Loved getting lost in the garden and being chased by ducks and geese. Free WiFi was a real treat, especially when I needed a distraction from the lack of matchsticks for my candles.
Forgot to mention the friendly insects that kept me company in the garden, such great conversationalists. So thoughtful of them to join me.

Our xmas getaway at this hotel was simply amazing. The location was perfect, surrounded by ducks, geese, horses, and shetland ponies. The outlook from our room was stunning, and we enjoyed nice walks in the area, even spotting two red squirrels. The separate utility room/bathroom exceeded our expectations, with a microwave and crockery/cutlery for our use. The shower was fantastic and the host, Kathy, was lovely and gave us great recommendations for local eateries. We had memorable meals at Cook and Baker, the Taverners, and the Griffin, all within a short distance from the hotel.
While our overall experience was fantastic, there were a few minor inconveniences. there was some noise from neighboring construction work, which was outside the hotel's control.

The towels were not changed during the stay and some amenities, such as matches for the candles, were not readily available.

The bed in our accommodation was incredibly comfortable, allowing us to enjoy a good night's sleep. the shower was also impressive, providing a refreshing and enjoyable experience. the location of the hotel was excellent, offering beautiful scenery and a peaceful environment.
There were a few negative aspects to our stay. there was some noisy clanging at night which disturbed our sleep, possibly due to something metal being loose around the accommodation.

The Hut provided a fabulous and friendly stay during our Easter break. The owners, Kathy and Mark, were incredibly accommodating and waited for our delayed ferry arrival. The location was stunning, surrounded by horses, geese, and breathtaking views. We loved being off the grid and enjoying the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the hut itself was cozy and spotless. Another advantage was the proximity to Godshill village and the seaside, only a short drive away. a fantastic getaway.
Although this was outside the owners' control, there was some noise during the day from nearby construction work. there was no BBQ available, so if you plan on cooking breakfast, it's best to bring your own or a gas stove.
